When selecting a theme, I would search for a site that is optimized and responsive. I also looked for recent updates and positive reviews. I also wanted something that looked clean, professional, and easy to navigate.

Since we were not to use a theme that was discussed previously, this time around I narrowed it down to Zakra vs. Sydney. I ultimately wound up going with Sydney as it was recently updated, had a lot of reviews, and had two themes in particular that seemed appealing.

As far as customization, I am working to ensure that colors and fonts are congruent with the logo, that I add a social media presence, and offer ways and means for members to contact me.
