Reactivated Plugins and Their Value

For security purposes, I reactivated Jetpack, Login Lockdown, Wordfence Security, WP Activity Log, and Real Simple SSL. For accessibility and inclusivity, I reactivated Userway, although I did change the button to a smaller version as it seemed to want to hover over what I envisioned in my footer. For automated backups, I reactivated Updraft Plus as it appeared reliable and is highly rated.

Since I am planning to use the site as part of my dissertation, and because I may potentially pursue this as a consulting business upon obtaining my doctorate, I planned to re-activate AIOSEO. However there seemed to be issues with that, which I considered might be due to the fact that, as I recall, there was a notice it would be going away. So after doing some digging, I opted to go with Rank Math as a substitute since it was highly rated, recently updated, and seems to have more options in terms of analytics.

To enhance the site’s performance, I reactivated W3 Total Cache and AMP. Also, to manage spam, I reactivated Askimet. When I first started the website, I immediately received spam messages. But after installing that plugin, I haven’t had any issues whatsoever.

As I intend to share podcasts I’ve made previously with the educators participating in the community, I went ahead and reactivated Blurbry. I also activated Depicter again to give that another shot, although I don’t have any pictures at the moment for a slider. Lastly, since IONOS is overseeing the site, I reactivated those plugins.
